About ICDS:
The ICDS (IC Design Service Center) of ACE is to become an incubator for fabless start-up IC design houses. It occupies 10000 m2 of the workshop, can support up to 20-30 design houses to reside in, and supports them with EDA platform and design services of superior quality.
The ICDS has a computing center based on Giga-bit EDA LAN, composed of high performance computing server, file server, desktop workstations and PC terminals. High feedthrough and data security of customers' design projects can be guaranteed.
The ICDS has established strategical alliance with key global EDA vendors as Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synplicity etc. It will support foundry service in cooperation with TSMC, UMC, SMIC, GSMC etc. with their gold libraries and IPs, also with 3' party IP vendors.
The ICDS will provide turkey service to design houses based on its leading-edge technologies, specially with project evaluation, ASIC design service (R2G), SoC integration, IC production service and design methodology consultation. It will also provide detail reference flow to customers to develop their own projects.
